A New Taschen Book gets the SADISTIK SEAL OF APPROVAL! A fun new 352 page book about cartoonist Bill Ward with over 600 illustrations is now out! And what does the King of Crime have to do with the King of Pin-Ups, besides beautiful women? Bill Ward's cartoons, along with those of his fellow artists, Dan DeCarlo, Bill Wenzel and others, appeared in the Diabolikal Super-Kriminal's original Italian and French editions! What's more, the writer of Sadistik, Mort Todd, worked with Bill Ward at Cracked magazine and put out Bill's first art collection W.O.W.: The World of Ward. It involves the correspondence between the devil Screwtape and his
demon in training nephew Wormwood. Wild full page murals laid out by
writer Charles E. Hall (Bob Marley: Tale of the Tuff Gong), pencils by Mort Todd (uncredited) and incredible inks and painted cover by Pat Redding. This is a wild mixture of Rat Fink, Wacky Packs and Christian morals. Go figger! The direct sales edition has a foreword by Sandman writer Neil Gaiman, but the mainstream edition has a preface by original author C.S. Lewis.
